At the time of construction, Vaňkovka Gallery became the largest shopping and social centre in Moravia.

History of the Vaňkovka Gallery

The Vaňkovka Gallery was built on the site of the former 19th century engineering factory Vaňkovka on an area of 28,800 m². It is located on the outskirts of the historical centre of Brno between the train and bus stations. Two parts of the old factory have been incorporated into the new building of the Vaňkovka Gallery and many of the facades are made of baked bricks which are typical for old industrial halls.

K4 carried out the preparation of complete documentation for the construction and documentation of the actual design, its employees also performed author's supervision and securing of approval, construction management and technical supervision of the investor.

Shopping and social centre in Brno and the present

Currently, there are located more than 130 specialist shops, cafés, and restaurants with approximately 1,000 employees.
