The construction of the Oncology Centre is integrated into the existing construction of medical facilities in the area of the Pilsen-Lochotín Hospital. The building is located in the north-eastern part of the hospital complex near the northern gatehouse and is built as a completely new and relatively independent building from the other buildings. With the exception of the connection to the utilities, communication system, and other centrally designed systems of the hospital, the centre will function more or less as an autonomous unit.
Studies, documentation for building permits, tender documentation, implmentation documentation, and author's supervision. Cooperation with LT Projekt.
The building was nominated for the title of Building of the Year 2011 and won a special award in this competition, the Chairman of the Senate of the Parliament of the Czech Republic Award for the creation of a contemporary hospital pavilion with regard to the complexity of the medical-technological layout. The building was also shortlisted in the new building category in the Facade of the Year 2010 competition and won the Media Partners Award in this competition.
