Reconstruction of a historic building in the center of the city into a five-star hotel of the Barceló chain.
The building of today's hotel was built in the middle of the 19th century to a design by the famous Viennese architect Franz Fröhlich. The original design envisaged the creation of a residential house with different types of rooms and an ingenious system of stairs. The palace facade contrasts with the romantic style of the interior.
The hotel on Šilingrov Square was created by the reconstruction of the dilapidated building of the Municipal Court, which used to be the district court and the city museum. This Neo-Renaissance building is currently considered a cultural monument, previously it was also known as the Burgher's Palace.
The 5-star boutique hotel Barceló offers a total of 119 luxurious rooms, conference halls, as well as a spa and relaxation areas. From the last fifth floor, the guest can look directly at the starry sky over Brno through the attic window.
K4 a.s. processed the documentation for the execution of the construction and the documentation for the alteration of the construction before completion.
