New construction of a wood processing plant to produce joinery and construction timber and timber production with a capacity of processing 1,000,000m3 of timber/year. The facility, which is expected to be one of the most modern in the country, includes an administration building, a maintenance and operation hall, sorting and debarking lines, a sawmill hall, sawmill drying boxes and log, sawn timber and wood material warehouses, and a fuel filling station.

Preparation of studies, documentation for the planning procedure, documentation for the construction procedure, documentation for the selection of the construction contractor.

The actual implementation started at the turn of 2018 and 2019.

2018

Clarion Grandhotel Zlatý Lev in Liberec belongs to the Clarion hotel network of CPI Hotels. In the past, K4 managed the construction of the Clarion Congress Hotel Prague and the preparatory phase of the Clarion Congress Hotel Olomouc, and also participated in the design of the Olomouc hotel.    

The reconstruction of the interior of the Clarion Grandhotel Zlatý Lev in Liberec was carried out in the hotel rooms located on two floors and consisted mainly of structural modifications of sanitary facilities, new wiring and low-current wiring, installation and commissioning of new air conditioning units and stabilization of wooden floors with replacement of flooring in these areas. In addition, the technology of the original passenger lift was completely replaced with a new one, with a change in the location of the lift doors and the construction of a new lift shaft, including the installation of a new passenger lift.    

K4 a.s. provided the client with the services of a project manager and technical supervision of the investor during the reconstruction of the hotel.

Between 2003 and 2018, K4 prepared project documentation for several CTParks in the Czech Republic in the locations of Blučina, Brno, Hrušky, Humpolec, Cheb, Kvasiny, Modřice, Odrava, Okříšky, Ostrava, Pohořelice, Prague, Voděrady and Hungary in the location of Tatabanya. In these industrial and logistics parks, many major companies have found their production and storage facilities (e.g. ABB, Acer, ADC Krone, Andrew, Balzers, BENQ, Bernex, BOC, Bodycote, Coloplast, CTS, ČSAD, Danaher, DHL, Electro World, Faurecia, Fermat, Gebruder Weiss, GDX, Gigabyte, GreneKramp, Honeywell, HTC, IFE, IMI Norgree, Inventec, Kompan, Lagermax, Levi, Makro Cash&Carry, Maehler&Koege, Michel, Mergon, Moeller, Moduslink, Nitto Denko, Nunner, Pilkington, PSM, PST, Rosso Steel, Rossignol, Ringier, RR Donelly, SCE, Seaborn, Schenker, Siemon, UPS, ViskoTeepak, Wistron and others). Reconstruction of the central operating theatres of the University Hospital Brno

Managing the implementation of construction and assembly works for the reconstruction of the operating theatres on the premises of the University Hospital Brno in Bohunice.

Work on the renovation of the entire operating theatre complex was carried out in such a way as to minimise the impact on the functioning of this important part of the University Hospital's operations. K4 a.s. performed the following services on the above-mentioned construction:

- technical supervision of the investor of the construction and technological part during the implementation of the construction,

- OHS coordinator - supervision of compliance with the principles of occupational safety, occupational health and environmental protection,

- coordination of activities during the approval process.

Proposal of the hospital’s site modernization with a medium-term plan (about 10 years) and a long-term plan (up to 20 years). The main objective was to prepare an optimal solution of relocating most of the medical clinics and departments, including the administrative facilities from the Borska premises to the Lochotín premises. The concept of construction modifications is designed in several stages – the first stage includes the construction of a new pavilion of surgical specialities, including its interconnection with other existing buildings using an underground and overground corridor. Processing of an investment development plan, and volumetric study of the pavilion.

WALTROVKA MECHANICA

Mechanica is a part of the Waltrovka project, which is located closest to the Jinonice B metro station, with a pedestrian footbridge connecting it to the station's vestibule. New shops, restaurants and other services have been created in the adjacent central square to bring this part of Waltrovka to life.Mechanica presents a total of 35,000 sqm of office and retail space, offering users a clean and efficient office design with a wide range of shops and services on the ground floor of all three buildings.The contract was managed by Construction management.

Its shape and architecture are related to the Aviatica building and thus complete the face of the entire Waltrovka development towards Radlická Street. Decathlon in Brno Ivanovice

Decathlon is the largest retailer and manufacturer of sports equipment, offering equipment for more than 50 sports. The great interest of buyers led to the realization of another sales area in Brno. The building modifications (fitout) for the needs of the new Decathlon store in Brno-Ivanovice took place in the premises of a part of the former Baumarkt hobby market in the Globus shopping centre.

During the construction of the Decathlon in Ivanovice, our company performed technical supervision of the investor.

Residential house Kociánka Rezidence

The new apartment building designed by K4 is located in Brno on Kocánka Street, in the city district of Královo pole, cadastral area Sadová.

It is a new residential building with 5 above-ground and 1 underground floor. There are 30 residential units on the above-ground floors, parking space and technical background of the building on the underground floor. The residential building is located in a quiet location with a view of Brno.

The company K4 prepared the architectural study, documentation for the zoning procedure, documentation for the building permit, tender documentation and performed author's supervision on the construction.
